The study aimed to deconstruct the structure of military doctrines and the balances of mutual technological deterrence in the Middle East at the onset of 2026. It adopted a qualitative methodology, utilizing the descriptive-analytical approach, geopolitical systems analysis, and the comparative method to demonstrate the transition of engagement rules from shadow wars to open confrontation. The study reached a set of key findings, most notably: the inability of (American-Israeli) air superiority and artificial intelligence to achieve a comprehensive strategic resolution against the Iranian decentralized "Mosaic Defense" doctrine; the success of the regional "Unity of the Arenas" strategy in inducing "technical saturation" of the adversaries' air defense systems; and the emergence of the energy weapon alongside the disruption of vital straits as a coercive geopolitical and economic constraint that enforced pacification to protect international interests, backed by structural support from the new Russian-Chinese polarization. The study concluded that physical geography (mountainous fortifications) and digital independence (national cyber infrastructure) still govern the efficacy of military technology, thereby ending the practical viability of unipolarity and driving toward the formation of a multipolar regional system governed by the balance of terror and political realism.
