Publication conditions

The process of publishing research in The Arabian Gulf Journal of Humanities and Social Studies requires adherence to a set of specific conditions and rules, which aims to ensure the quality of the submitted content. Researchers should format their work according to the guidelines outlined below. Please review them carefully:

  • The paper must be A4 size, with font type and size as follows:
  • In Arabic: "Arial” font, size 16 bold for the main title, 14 bold for subheadings, and 14 regular for the remaining text, with page numbering and a spacing of no less than 1.5.
  • In English: "Times New Roman" font, size 16 bold for the main title, 14 bold for subheadings, and 12 regular for the remaining text, ith page numbering and a spacing of no less than 1.5.

 

Documentation:

References must be documented according to the American Psychological Association (APA) style, with English sources listed first, followed by foreign sources in English research papers. With the exception of Legal Research and jurisprudential research, documentation should be in the margin of each page and not in the body of the text.

 

Footnotes:

Footnotes are used to clarify any notes or additional information, and they should be written in parentheses at the bottom of the page or included in a special appendix at the end of the research.

 

References:

References should be listed in alphabetical order by the author's name, indicating the type of reference (research, book, thesis, etc.) according to the specified standards.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • The research must include the name of the researcher(s), job description, and the institution they are belong to.
  • An abstract in Arabic and another in English is required, with at least six keywords, for both abstracts 
  • The content of the research should be organized according to the journal's requirements, including: Abstract, introduction, statement of the problem, research questions, significance of the study, objectives of the study, terms of the study, theoretical framework and previous studies, methodology, research tool, study results, discussion of the results, recommendations, and sources and references in APA format.

  •  The researcher must complete the pledge to publish the research in The Arabian Gulf Journal of Humanities and Social Studies, and attach it to the manuscript. (Pledge Form)
