The COVID-19 pandemic revealed the urgent need to strengthen hospital management systems and enhance their preparedness for cross-border public health emergencies. It served as a real-world test of healthcare institutions' ability to adapt and respond rapidly under unprecedented pressure. As the world now closely monitors the emergence and spread of infectious diseases such as the Hantavirus, the importance of scientific research examining the efficiency of healthcare management and epidemic emergency response mechanisms has once again come to the forefront. Such research should be viewed not merely as a response to temporary crises, but as an essential component of a sustainable global health security framework. From this perspective, the present study highlights hospital management during the COVID-19 pandemic, reviews the key lessons learned, and examines the administrative and medical challenges that have contributed to reshaping contemporary concepts of healthcare preparedness.
